About

We are pleased to provide an informational panel and continuing dialogue to accompany our current exhibition which focuses on work produced by Arizona-based immigrant artists.

The exhibition, The Twisted Road: Finding Home in America, examines over 200 years of U.S. immigration history through the lens of art and historical narratives. As national conversations about immigration and border policies intensify, the panel discussion will explore the current state of immigration policies and what the future may hold in this very complex area.

We have assembled an expert panel representing a broad segment of our community to provide an enlightened discussion identifying very current issues and providing a response to your questions.

PANEL DISCUSSION: Moderator: Maurice H Goldman, Esq., Goldman & Goldman

• Policy and legal challenges under the current administration, Maurice H. Goldman, Esq.,

• Living in an enforcement driven mode without boundaries, Jenn Budd, author and former Senior Patrol Agent, U.S. Border Patrol

• Why sanctuary churches welcome immigrants and how can this policy survive? Pastor Alison J. Harrington, Southside Presbyterian Church

• How far can these changes impact immigrant rights and the rights of citizens, Valentina Restrepo Montoya, ALWAYS, (Arizona Legal Women and Youth Services), Executive Director & CEO

A brief Q & A will follow.

Space is limited. Reservations required, please call the Museum (520) 202-3888. Event is Free with Museum Admission. The museum will be open until 9pm to view the exhibition.
